We’ve been hard at work on our quoting software, currently in private beta. We’ve received a lot of great feedback from our beta testers and are really excited about the results. One of the biggest complaints we received was that Socket hadn’t been integrated with any CRM or contact management software. We realize the importance of having web-based tools that play nicely together and our users have made it clear that it’s important to have the ability to manage leads from a single, convenient place. As such, we are pleased to announce that we’ve completed integration with Salesforce.com, Highrise CRM, and Zoho CRM.

We took careful consideration when implementing the CRM integration to ensure that we use each CRM’s respective proper usage conventions. These conventions are outlined in brief below:

Salesforce.com Integration

Socket’s quoting software integrates with the enterprise and unlimited editions of Salesforce only (since API access is required and only these plans offer such).

  • People, regardless of whether they were created as the result of an Inquiry or a Quote, will show under Contacts in Salesforce. An Account will also be created to store the company name and address.
  • Quotes will show under Opportunities. You can also opt to have Quotes created automatically in Salesforce, in addition to Opportunities, if you have them enabled.
  • Inquiries will show under Cases.

Highrise CRM Integration

Socket’s quoting software integrates with all editions of Highrise CRM.

  • People, regardless of whether they were created as the result of an Inquiry or a Quote, will show under Contacts in Highrise.
  • When a Quote is generated, a Note will be added to the contact, unless you check the option to create deals, at which point a Deal will be created instead. If you choose to tag contacts, a tag with the name of the Quote Form will be added to the Contact.
  • Inquires will result in a Note being added to the contact.

Zoho CRM sales quoting integration

Socket’s quoting software integrates with all editions of Zoho CRM.

  • People, regardless of whether they were created as the result of an Inquiry or a Quote, will show under Contacts in Zoho. People with matching organization names will be grouped as Contacts under the same Account.
  • Quotes will show under Potentials.
  • Inquiries will show under Cases.

CRM integration will be included in the Tower plan and above. See Socket’s pricing page for more details.

We plan on integrating with other popular web apps in the future as well. If you would like to inquire about custom integration with your CRM, please contact us.
